
SmartHub provides convenient account access via desktop or mobile devices. Manage your account, view and pay your bill, set up automatic payments, and more—all at the touch of a button.

Upon signing up for RS Fiber services, you will receive an email from hbc-no-reply@smarthub.coop. Follow the instructions below to activate your account. If you did not receive the email, please check your junk inbox or contact a Customer Experience Representative at (800) 628-1754.
Browser instructions:
- In the email, click the Verify Account button.
- Follow the prompts to change your password and click Submit.
- Select Yes or No to either accept or deny Paperless Bills and then click Submit to complete account setup.
- Visit rsfiber.coop/smarthub to access SmartHub in the future.
-If pop-up blocking is enabled on your computer, you will need to temporarily allow pop-ups.
Mobile instructions:
- In the email, click the Verify Account button.
- Follow the prompts and create a password to access your SmartHub account.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Submit to complete account setup.
- To view and manage your account, download the SmartHub app by searching SmartHub in your app store application. Once downloaded search for RS Fiber and select HBC and RS Fiber.
First time payment by credit card, debit card, checking, or savings account:
Browser instructions:
- Visit rsfiber.coop/smarthub to login to your account.
- Click the Make Payment>> button from the Home screen.
- Verify or edit your payment amount, then click the Pay Now>> button.
- Verify the payment amount is correct and click Continue.
- Select the Pay with a new Card option or Pay with a new Bank Account, set the payment date, and then click Continue.
- Complete the required form fields, then click Continue.
Mobile instructions:
- Open the SmartHub app and login to your account.
- Click the Pay button from the Home screen.
- Verify or edit your payment amount and select a payment date.
- Click the Add New button.
- Select either the Card or the Bank Account option.
- Complete the required form fields, click Continue, and then click Save.
Adding a payment method to your account:
Browser instructions:
- Visit rsfiber.coop/smarthub to login to your account.
- Click the Manage My Registered Accounts hyperlink from Quick Links on the left-hand side.
- Select Manage My Stored Payment Accounts.
- Select either the Add New Card>> or the Add New Bank Account>> button.
- Complete the required form fields, then click Submit to save your payment information.
Mobile instructions:
- Open the SmartHub app and login to your account.
- Click the Settings icon in the lower right-hand corner.
- Select Stored Payment Accounts.
- Click the Add New button.
- Select either the Card or the Bank Account option.
- Complete the required form fields, click Continue, and then click Save.
SmartHub paperless billing allows you to receive your monthly bill in email instead of a paper bill being mailed to you. View, access, and pay your bill online—it’s easy, convenient, and free.
Browser instructions:
- Visit rsfiber.coop/smarthub to login to your account.
- Select the My Profile tab and then select Update My Paperless Settings.
- Toggle the slider to the ON position.
Mobile instructions:
- Open the SmartHub app and login to your account.
- Click the Settings icon in the lower right-hand corner, then select Paperless Billing.
- Toggle the slider to the ON position.
Enjoy the convenience of having your bill automatically paid each month from your bank account or card when you enroll in Auto Pay. With Auto Pay, you no longer have to worry about due dates or late fees since your payment is automatically deducted from your account each month.
Browser instructions:
- Visit rsfiber.coop/smarthub to login to your account.
- From the top navigation, click Billing & Payments, then click the Auto Pay Program hyperlink from the left-hand side.
- Click the Sign Up For Auto Pay>> hyperlink.
- Choose either the Card>> or Bank Account>> hyperlink to setup your default payment method.
- Accept the Auto Pay Terms and Conditions by clicking the checkbox.
- Complete the required form fields, and then click Continue.
Mobile app instructions:
- Open the SmartHub app and login to your account.
- Click the Bill & Pay icon toward the bottom.
- Select Auto Pay Program.
- Accept Terms and Conditions.
- Select an existing stored payment method or click the Add New button to add a new payment method.
- If using an existing stored payment method, select the payment method, and then click Confirm.
- If adding new payment method, select the Card or Bank Account option. Enter required information, click Continue, click Continue, and then click Confirm.
Two-Factor Authentication enhances account security by requiring two forms of verification before granting access to an account. To enable, follow the below instructions:
Browser instructions:
- Visit rsfiber.coop/smarthub to login to your account.
- Select the My Profile tab.
- Select Manage Two-Factor Authentication.
- Click the Enable two-factor authentication checkbox.
- Choose your preferred contact method whether it be Email, Text Message, or a One-Time Password Application.
- Enter requested information and click Continue.
- A 6-digit verification code will be sent to you via your preferred contact method. Enter the code and click Save. Two-Factor Authentication is now enabled.
Mobile instructions:
- Login to the SmartHub app.
- Click the Settings icon in the lower right-hand corner.
- Select Security, then Two-factor Authentication.
- Navigate through the top tabs to choose your preferred contact method whether it be Email, Text Message, or a One-Time Password Application.
- Enter requested information and click Continue.
- A 6-digit verification code will be sent to you via your preferred contact method. Enter the code and click Save. Two-Factor Authentication is now enabled.
SmartHub Pay Now allows you to make a one-time payment without setting up a SmartHub account.
- Visit rsfiber.coop/smarthub/paynow to login to your account.
- Enter the payment amount you would like to make, then click the Pay Now>> button.
- Verify the Payment amount is correct and click Continue.
- Select a payment method and click Continue. If you wish to save your payment method, whether it be a credit card or bank account, click the respective checkbox that reads: Save This Card or Save This Account.
- Call (800) 628-1754.
- Follow the voice prompts to make a payment or access account information.
- Enter your billing account number followed by #, then follow the voice prompts.
Browser instructions:
- Login to your SmartHub account.
- Click the View Billing History hyperlink from Quick Links on the left-hand side.
- Use the page forward and page back arrow buttons to find the bill and billing period you are looking for.
- Click the View Details>> hyperlink for Bill Details or the View Bill>> hyperlink to view your Printed Bill as a PDF.
Mobile app instructions:
- Login to your SmartHub account.
- Click the Bill & Pay icon toward the bottom.
- Select Billing History.
- Search for and select the monthly bill you would like to review by clicking either the date or paperclip icon. If you click any link under the Insert section, you will have the option to view that month’s bill and/or bill insert(s).
